Hellooooo ♥
As January is coming to an end, I thought it was about time I cracked open 'Ye Old Resolution Notepad' for 2013. The main reason I am mentioning this is because one of my resolutions is to start a blog. So, here we go.
Having a blog is something I've always wanted to do purely because I enjoy expressing my thoughts with the world, even if they choose not to listen haha. I love writing about something which I am passionate about and I also love reading other people's personal experiences, opinions and advice. The world is such a vast place with a spectrum of characters some of which I hope to encounter via my blog.
I've put some thought into it and I've come to a conclusion that I'd like my blog to be an extension of me and all that I love. Yippee!
In my first blog post I've decided to include my New Year's Resolutions (besides that of starting a blog). So without further ado:
♥ The Stepping Out Resolution
Getting out of my comfort zone. There are gonna be times when I will end up in situations which require me to make a choice. This resolution means that I won't always chose the situation which I feel 100% sure about, the safe choice. More importantly, I need to learn how to open up to people more when it comes to certain things, especially my best friends. I am quite an introvert in the sense that I keep a lot of my feelings and emotions to myself. However, this year I need to let people in more and express my feelings to them.
♥ The Chirpy Resolution
Compliment people and give off a positive vibe. Be so happy that when others see you they become happy too! I've always been a very positive, chirpy person and I always tend to look on the bright side of things. In life you'll eventually come across somebody who isn't so or as optimistic. I want to spread my positive aura onto these people by complimenting them often and offering an alternative view on certain gloomy issues. In addition, I want to stop letting negativity in. Sometimes when surrounded by gloomy people, their point of view starts to overcloud my thoughts and stops me from seeing the positive aspects in situations and myself. Remember, it's okay to love yourself.
♥ The Cliche Resolution
This one might come as a shocker! In 2013, I will exercise at least 4 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. I think this is pretty reasonable. I will drink more water and keep up my healthy lifestyle. And since A levels are coming up this year I vow to study my ass off.
♥ The Favourite Resolution.
Fill a jar with notes of all the positive things that happen in 2013 and crack it open on New Year's Eve! By the end of the year I hope that I'll have a jar full of happy memories which will show me what a wonderful year I've had!
